Congratulations to Westfield Battalion Chief Mike Sherley on his retirement. After 43 years of service to the Westfield community and Hamilton County, Brother Sherley hung up his coat for the final time on Monday morning. "Chief Sherley has dedicated his life to the people of Westfield and has served to lead the men and women of the Westfield Fire Department for over four decades," Tony Murray, president of IAFF Local 4416 said. Through his career Chief Sherley witnessed rapid growth in both the size of the department and a growing suburban city. "On behalf of all of our members, I congratulate Brother Sherley on his retirement and a long career with Westfield Fire. We wish he and his wife all the best in this well deserved retirement," Murray went on to say.
